Visitors must park within the designated area provided; potable water is available at the Hopetoun Groyne and a dump point is located opposite Wavecrest Tourist Park on Senna Road. Hopetoun is situated between Albany and Esperance in WA, approximately 50kms south of Ravensthorpe. There are no facilities at the Hopetoun RV Free Camping area, however there is a park nearby with drinking water and toilets. Hopetoun is a very pretty seaside village, some 575 kilometres south-east of Perth on the shores of the port of Mary Ann Haven. Hopetoun is a very popular tourist town given the Hopetoun coastline boasts many pristine sandy beaches and scenic drives. For example, the Southern Ocean Road to the east of Hopetoun has many lookouts and access points to beaches. Pets are allowed at the Hopetoun RV Friendly stop if on a lead and kept under control at all times.
