RV Friendly Parking Pinjarra Western Australia. Pinjarra is a small town in the Peel region of Western Australia along the South Western Highway, 80 kilometres from Perth and 20 kilometres south-east of the coastal city Mandurah. Its local government area is the Shire of Murray. Pinjarra is steeped in history, and near the site of the Pinjarra massacre, where between 14 and 80 Noongar people were killed by British colonists in 1834. Pinjarra has a large grassy area big enough for any size self-contained recreational vehicle (RV). The overnight free RV Friendly stop in Pinjarra is located between the Heritage Railway station and the road. There is no camping in tents or other vehicles that aren’t self-contained. A ranger comes by regularly to check registration and ensure you are self-contained. You can use the dump point located on the road, opposite the hotel, which is also used by vans as they pass through Pinjarra. There are toilets at the train station for day visitors, and also a playground at the far end of the camping area near the toilets. Pets are OK, but must be kept on a lead and under control at all times. There is no cost to stay for up to 24-hours only.
