RV Friendly Primrose Sands, South East Hobart. Primrose Sands is a small mixed urban and rural locality in the local government area of Sorell in the South-east region of Tasmania. Primrose Sands is located app. 20 kilometres south-east of the town of Sorell where you will find another great small RV Friendly Stop Tasmania. Travellers in fully self-contained recreational vehicles can stay at the Primrose Sands RSL which offers power hookups, is dog friendly and accessible to RVs, caravans and big rigs – camping in tents, campervans, rooftop tents or other vehicles that aren’t self-contained is not permitted.
Fees are $7.50/night unpowered or $10/night with power. The Primrose Sands RSL is open 7 days a week for meals and drinks at the following times – Mon: 1pm till 9pm – Tues: 1pm till 9pm – Wed: 1pm till late – Thurs: 1pm till 10pm – Fri: 1pm till late – Sat: 12 noon till 11pm- Sun: 12 noon till 9pm. Dinner is available on Friday and Saturday nights from 6pm until 8pm and a barbeque lunch is available on Sundays during the warmer months.
Can I camp in a tent at the Primrose Sands RSL?
NO - all camping must be in fully self-contained recreational vehicles.
Is the Primrose Sands RSL pet-friendly?
Pets are welcome, however all pets must be kept on a lead and under control at all times. Dogs running freely or barking will not be tolerated.
