You can stay for a maximum of 2 nights at this RV Friendly location Evandale Tasmania, a short drive from Launceston Airport and Launceston City. The Evandale RV Friendly stop is located at Falls Park on the corner of Logan Rd & Huxables Lane. Permits are free and available on-line. Please note you can’t stay at this location on Saturday nights – all vehicles must leave before 10 am Saturday. To stay at the Evandale RV Friendly stop you must be fully self-contained and have onboard water, shower, toilet, sleeping and cooking facilities. Evandale is a small, historic and very attractive town in Northern Tasmania, located app. 18km south of Launceston and well known for its annual Penny Farthing Race. Evandale is located on a ridge overlooking surrounding farmland, agricultural holdings and the South Esk River. The unusual streets and distinctive architecture found in Evandale portray colonial village life of the past. Evandale was originally settled as a military post in 1811. The Evandale Market is an institution that operates every Sunday and offers fresh produce, food trucks, bric-a-brac and a range of different new and secondhand goods.
