Free parking for fully self-contained recreational vehicles is provided at the Cressy Recreation Oval Cressy, Northern Tasmania. Cressy is a small town located approximately 35 kilometres south of Launceston and close to the larger rural town of Longford. The overnight parking area in Cressy is well signposted off the main road of this small community. In Cressy you will find an IGA and an excellent bakery, hotel and a few other services. Trout fishing is a popular pastime in this area, with Brumby’s Creek being easily accessible. There are no facilities at the Cressy RV Friendly Stop, all vehicles must have their own water, toilet, shower, cooking and sleeping facilities. Camping in tents, campervans, cars or other vehicles that aren’t self-contained is not permitted. Pets are OK if kept under control at all times and on a lead.
